To be fair, Renji is only a little stronger than average human thanks to the cheat, the rest was thanks to him training to get stronger, and Ermenhilde power is really restricted with the seven constraints he needs to fulfill.

I can understand now why Ermenhilde is always on Renji’s case when he only does herb-collecting and goblin subjugation quests. There’s no reason someone like him should be doing those types of jobs, he looks like the type who should be dealing with more intermediate based quests at the very least.
